Asia-Europe market rates have taken an unexpected tumble for October, so it would be a good time to get your bookings in before they start rising again for November sailings.
Some carriers are forecasting increases up to $900 per teu next month. Usually this time of year there is an increase in freight rates as China shuts down for their national holidays, however this year the rates have fallen, giving an indication of an over supplied, and very competitive market.
